If ad-block software is illegal, then changing the TV channel when the ads come on should be illegal too, which would make no sense. They cannot force you to watch ads, although some websites do have creative ways to block their content or try to guilt you if you are running ad-blocking software. However.... free websites do still need to get money from somewhere to pay for hosting costs etc. If you like the site either view the ads, or, if you hate ads, you can probably give them a donation via Paypal or such, if you feel they deserve something from you. |
