I have been with Telecom since I came to NZ 27 years ago and have been observed that their service was improving from time to time, but since they changed their name to Spark it's going the other way around. Management is changing from good to bad. I can really feel it.

1405479 2015-07-28 03:21:00 So, in your view, a landline disruption for 4 days without any explanation/ warning is completely ACCEPTABLE? Sounds like a third world country.
And, totally ignore a customer's feed back is also acceptable. Yes, I am just an ordinary domestic customer but I am still a customer and am paying for the service.

Faults happen, that's life. I wouldn't waste my time making a mountain out of a molehill about it. If you are that annoyed about it, shift to a new provider.

Disagree, in my experience their service levels and responsiveness have improved dramatically in the past few years, certainly above and beyond what they were a decade ago. There are now more ways to contact them, with a broader availability time, as well as more self-service tools. But faults will always happen, and some faults can be a pain to resolve.

Out of say 1 million users, then yes , that is totally acceptable for a HOME PHONE service . Most tech will have unexpected faults here & there .
What you are really wanting is a 100% uptime, never faulting service . Such a thing does not exist .

We want the lowest possible cost on our ph & internet , so we cant expect any more than a low cost service .

1405483 2015-07-28 04:12:00 Don't put words into my mouth. I never expected a 100% uptime; and unexpected faults do happen, no doubt about it.

If you guys think that a 4-days disruption is NORMAL and acceptable, let be it.

End of story.
