1413049 2015-12-16 22:30:00 Hi there

What are the easiest to setup/use options for syncing word/execl docs to androids & ipads
Also to sync docs created on the android/ipad back to the PC
Any easy way to download docs direct to tabs, phs (ie so they are saved on the device rather than in the cloud)

I'm just trying out a few options
MS has a free Office phone app, that can link to dropbox, but Android Word has that awefull doublespacing..yuk yuk yuk
Google apps seems OK, and can save as a docx (with some effort) but uploading to dropbox didnt work (unreadble)
I havent tried via MS one drive yet, may be a good option for PC's with 2013 ?

Any suggestions, to setup for users who arnt tech savvy & want a simple solution ?
just emailing docs to the ph isnt a good solution in the long term

1413050 2015-12-17 01:27:00 Dropbox or onedrive. What you edit the files with is up to you, but accessing them via the cloud is no different to opening an e-mail attachment in that regard.
If word for android doesn't edit how you like e-mailing them won't make a difference over using onedrive for example.

Easy way to download direct? Plug a cable in and copy them across.

Personally I don't understand why people insist on using tablets for work purposes, especially android or IOS based ones. Use a laptop or a windows tablet and open the files natively. Tablets are cool, but not for work.

If only it were that easy (Ithings)
Just spent 1/2 hour mucking around trying to copy pdfs direct to ithing & have them accesable in the ithings pdf reader.

Dropbox may be by far the best way I guess.

So much for Tablets replacing PCs & laptops (yeah, right)
