1412391 2015-12-05 07:55:00 My laptop which has Windows 10 and just downloaded and installed an update now has this IRQL_UNEXPECTED_VALUE blue screen that is now running in a loop .

My PC which crashed with Windows 7 is running fairly well after I gave up on Windows 10 .

You cannot believe how thrilled I am to have another computer crashing because of Windows 10!!!!

I hope there is an easy solution to the problem . But now the computer goes into a blue screen almost as soon as I restart it .

Can someone help?

Thanks

Lee

1412392 2015-12-05 08:43:00 Did you upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10? Seems to usually be caused by outdated wireless card drivers which have been carried over from Windows 7 or installed by the user. icow (15313)
1412393 2015-12-05 09:50:00 Yes, I did upgrade from Windows 7 to 10. The thing is the laptop worked fine for over three months. Windows 10 installed an updated and then the problem started. Nothing changed with the laptop other than Windows 10 did an update. Columbuslee (16989)

Boot into safe mode, remove the update .

Or, what did the update actually do? Installed a new driver probably, remove the offending driver .
