What do u mean I should have a standy driver for a flash drive in 98?? And what doesnt have a plug and play feature (my comp or Wind98 and what is that?? Sorry to ask probably basic question. |

Then Id copy across what I wanted and either leave it in the new computer or remove it once Id finished, depending whether I wanted the 98 computer going again. I know it sounds a little complicated but its probably in reality the easiest and quickest method of all. ;) If you want instructions on how just ask. :D |

It's what I did with the computer I am using at this very moment. The old hard drive has stayed and is now used as my first backup. So why didn't I suggest this myself. Dunno! Tom |

Im sure if this is stated by the manufacturer of the hardware it's probably correct It is someones theory. The one who wrote this nonsense on the box. Like I said, thers Win98 1st ed PCs all over the place here using stuff they were told they couldn't. But don't listen to me, I'm only a tech not a large chain store. |
