| 536077 | 2007-03-26 20:47:00 | I'm having a small problem with my kerberos setup. Yesterday it was working fine, but today it's incredibly slow to authenticate anything; in fact it takes so long that my mail client is timing out just waiting for the authentication to finish. This isn't just on the clients either - even trying to authenticate on the KDC takes forever. I'm using the debian etch version of MIT kerberos. It's not a clock sync issue. I have been using kinit to test authentication times - sometimes it takes as long as 5 minutes to authenticate. :badpc: As almost everything on my network uses this kerberos system for authentication, it's driving me nuts.:waughh: Any ideas? |
