| 536058 | 2007-03-26 20:14:00 | Hi guys Installed a new video card Sunday. No problems, installation went well. Yesterday, saw the "Start" screen showing black lines over every item on the basic list, although if you use the mouse and go to one of the items it still works. Some of the websites also showed thin black lines. I think it may be the VC driver(s) being too old? (VC = Radeon 9600). WinXp, 1.7 Ghz, 1G Ram, and I replaced the card after the previous card failed (or so I thought). Any ideas? Sorry for the sparse details - difficult to describe. sarel |
