| 535746 | 2007-03-25 08:17:00 | Do anyone know how to release ip with dynalink rta210 adsl router? apart from that, do anyone know how to delete static ip, I tried to reset the configuration of my modem, but the static ip on the ip static routing table in the admin page just keep coming up. I am not sure if the problem is caused by dchp or whatever static ip and i was using wireless connection, but now i ve changed back to wired...Before the public ip was like 210.123.324.21, but after i set up a wireless connection, it changes to 125.238.172.95... not sure if that is the problem. |

| 535747 | 2007-03-25 10:05:00 | Releasing the dynamic IP from the router should only be as simple as rebooting it. (Either through the web browser or turn it off with the button at the back.) As for deleting your static IP you should be able to get the answers from the users manual which is available from the Dynalink site. www.dynalink.co.nz Regards Capt Jimbo |

| 535751 | 2007-03-26 03:09:00 | Why are you trying to delete the static ip address of the router?, every router requires a static internal ip address. Are you perhaps getting confused with the external static ip address, provided by you ISP?. You cannot change this!? The external address of your router can change through connecting and disconnecting the adsl, however this should not effect anything within your LAN. Perhaps you should try explaining what your issue is 1st before you start changing settings you dont understand!? |
