536621 2007-03-29 00:43:00 A minor problem but annoying.
My spreadsheets started opening with a small box with 'EuroValue' or something similar in it. All the currencies in the sheet only contain NZ dollars AFAIK.
The only way I could get rid of this box (apart from closing it each time I opened the file) was to delete the option from the list of Toolbars. However, this now means that whenever I open Excel, it states that it cannot run this add-in and do I want to install it now. Any ideas on how to prevent this message appearing? I don't need the add-in cos it only converts from or to Euro currency.

536623 2007-03-29 03:28:00 It has been deselected. That's the problem - it still wants to be installed again even though I have not used it (intentionally) and do not need it. user (1404)
536624 2007-03-29 03:45:00 Yes, somehow the spreadsheet has been told to use that addin. ;) So it asks for it. :(

I would guess that you need to make it available again, then deselect the function for that spreadsheet (possibly using its toolbar?). Once you get that done, don't forget to save the spreadsheet. ;)

536625 2007-03-29 04:33:00 Problem now seems to be solved. It was doing it on opening Excel with a blank spreadsheet as well so it didn't seem to be just a single file with the addin associated with it. I'm not sure what action finally did it. Perhaps going thru Tools - Addins and confirming the unchecking that way finally did it, rather than thru the View - Toolbar pathway.
Thanks for your suggestions.
