| 537357 | 2007-04-01 02:47:00 | If directx (9.0c) DirectDraw is enabled then media player (11) hangs on avi's or mpeg's. If I disable DirectDraw then the avi's and mpeg's will play. I have run gspot to check if the relevant codec(s) are install and it reports that they are. I have the same issue with media player 9 and 10. System = XP Professional build 2600, SP2 AMD Athlon 64 Porcessor 3400+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.4GH 1024 Ram 6600GT Nvidia GForce, driver 93.71 Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

| 537359 | 2007-04-01 05:50:00 | I read the advice on the link supplied in the previous post but had no luck. At present media player 11 will not play any video file, it does however play music just fine. Directx tests all say everything is working fine. GSpot says all the codecs needed are present and working. The DivX player plays video files just fine (I guess I could just keep using this), it is only media player that is having problems. |

| 537361 | 2007-04-01 08:01:00 | Too many to list individually. The only third party ones are from DivX for Windows installer and XviD-1.1.2-0111206 | csw (12071) | ||
