| 537203 | 2007-03-31 02:47:00 | Hello There Guru's Have a problem with a PC, running XP & SP2. It will not connect to the internet. The dialup connects and seems happy enough, but any software (IE, OE & Firefox) refuses to see the connection. Tried my wireless dongle, which has worked well in the past, but it will not get an IP from my router. I suspect a corruption somewhere with Winsock, but am not sure how to check this or repair it.:help: Any assistance much appreciated. Cheers |

| 537207 | 2007-04-01 11:30:00 | Thanks guys, the fix got the Wireless Connection up and talking to the router, but still no connection to the software. Have since bitten the bullet and reinstalled windows, so all is back as it should be. Have also ghosted the new install for next time round! Cheers |
