...It went completely terrible and i thought i lost everything on the 50gig but after much effort i got it all back using GetDataBack for NTFS... it's not surprising that there might be a remnant hanging about. Such a process should not be "terrible". If the directory is empty I'd be inclined to leave it alone. I don't know how merging is done in Windows ... it might be an essential part of the process, and needed even after the operation has been performed. |
