| 537977 | 2007-04-03 04:09:00 | I want to do a clean install of Vista Ultimate (64 bit) onto my computer which currently has vista basic (32 bit). I have a few issues that I don't know how to resolve. First of all, will I need the HP utilities (such as Quick launch buttons and wireles assistant) that came preinstalled on the machine on the new OS? If I do how do I put them on there? Secondly, the old OS has a recovery partition on the hard drive and obviously I wont need it when I have the new OS, so how do I remove the partition? I would greatly recieve any info on what to do. |

Since youre doing a clean install, delete that partition in the setup screen, if it gives u the option. |
