538217 2007-04-04 23:19:00 have a look at www.inmatrix.com not sure if those features you want are in the free ver tweak'e (69)
538218 2007-04-04 23:30:00 VLC is great (www.videolan.org)

Unsure about the secondary monitor bit though, but it is good, and free, and it's a media player

538219 2007-04-05 02:12:00 Thanks for that. Inmatrix want $$ for those functions and vlc doesn't seem to do it. wotz (335)
538220 2007-04-05 02:45:00 Jet Audio Basic (www.cowonamerica.com) should.

Well it shows on the monitor and TV here.

Altho, it lacks some of the extras of the Plus (www.cowonamerica.com)
version.

I take it you've installed the video drivers as well?

And the videocard supports TV out?

And you have configured TV out thru the drivers / program havent u?

538221 2007-04-05 03:44:00 VLC is not good as a media player as such, the reason... it is lacking features such as a library...

I have heard the Quintessential Player (http://www.quinnware.com/) is fairly good.

SG, I don't see where it says anything about a TV ;) all I see is secondary monitor :p

And AFAIK if you close a application which is not maximised it will open in that place again...

538222 2007-04-05 08:45:00 You can use Media Player Classic (sourceforge.net), with the shortcut path having a suffix of
...mplayerc.exe /monitor N /fullscreen...N obviously being a number. Use /? to get the full list of switches.
