| 538855 | 2007-04-07 22:20:00 | Vista Home Premium Asus Z53Jc Notebook. Why would pictures on the slideshow screen saver start being in B&W? On starting again they revert to colour and then may go to B&W again! Many thanks |

Each has a similar - though not identical - meaning in your sentence, when used alone. Using both is confusing. (Using both is just confusing - or Using both is simply confusing - but not - Using both is just simply confusing). On another front ... Hmmm ... what to call it when a poster who's waited 5 hours for any reply finally gets one that's nonsense? Edit: I've removed my last sentence, deciding it was too tough, The relevant word, though, was manners ... |

You could try new drivers I suppose but I doubt it will do anything. |

I was half-expecting someone to point out a grammar mistake from that post, since the structure seems a bit weird overall. What I had intended to say earlier on was that "the poster can't be that stupid in such a way that he or she didn't realise the pictures are B & W in the first place!" (Not being very helpful, of course) Cheers :) |

I see nothing to suggest these are B/W pix, apart from a wild stab by James. The thread starter says: "On starting again, they revert to colour." |

But I said I was too old to play games with adolescents who still had bad habits. I suggested trying again once the rough edges have been knocked off. |
