| 538793 | 2007-04-07 08:46:00 | Trying to tidy up old comp so things work. Problems with old installs of Adobe Macromedia; Flashplayer & Shockwave Seem to have some files for aboves in various places to other. None are under "Program files", all except 2 are under Windows/Application date. Also under there is Adobe & Spybot (Spybot is also under Program files) The 2 not under there are under Windows/Downloaded Program files. They are 2 shockwave files (Shockwave Flash object 32 KB installed, & other, whole lot of numbers, says status unknown, created none. ) Do some downloads just go automatically under Applic data???? Going to do new updated downloads for Macromedia. When I install should I put them under program files (presuming it gives me a choice.) |

Firefox for instance gets all its plugins like Flash and Shockwave put into its plugins folder. Just grab the installers and keep default target folders, etc. Attached file: firefox_plugins.jpg (www.imagef1.net.nz) (91 KB) |
