| 538941 | 2007-04-09 21:33:00 | I had not previously tried dropping files from Explorer to Eudora and it works a treat - my choice for now. But I obviously need to keep looking, unless some new active group takes up support for Eudora - which I have liked from the outset. Glad to hear that worked for you. With regards to any other problems or issues you are having with Eudora it wouldn't hurt to ask here as we have a handful of Eudora fans on this forum. Someone might just have the answer you are looking for. ;) |

It amazes me that Quallcom has dropped such a good thing. I had another look at Thunderbird last night but could not get a second signature working - I give up and Eudora will last a few more years. |

There are two ways to handle alternate signatures in Thunderbird: a) Set up separate named Tbird accounts (either all using same ISP mail account or separate ISP mail accounts) and setup Tbird signature facility on each. b) Just have one Tbird account and use Quicktext addon which allows context menu right click to insert whatever selection of signatures you desire. (Not limited to signatures - can be used for any rubber stamp text insertion) |
