538996 2007-04-09 01:20:00 All I'm looking for here is some advice for the router setup.

No idea how to use the router to block his internet access other than to pull out the plug but you could use a softwall firewall that only allows internet access during certain hours. Password the firewall so that he can't change it and he'll be locked out for whenever you want.

Having said that, would he then revert to playing single player if he can't play on-line?

538999 2007-04-09 06:53:00 Depends on which router you have, check if you have a access restriction section.

539000 2007-04-10 02:40:00 Thanks for the help, Big John. I shall try the MAC thing. As for the DHCP settings. looks very complicated :S. Yes he will resort to SP games but they dont last forever. My parents are hoping he'll just grow out of it but it doesn't seem likely. Trust me I'm trying to help him here :)
Last night he was still on it at 2am. I quickly turned my PC on and disabled the NAT. Soon after swear words were heard and he went storming off to bed. But it did the trick :) Without him suspecting me
