| 539656 | 2007-04-10 02:19:00 | I have win xp and soundblaster x-fi. I was using my mic on ventrillo and stepped away for a few hours. When I went back on, my mic didn't work. I checked my connections, tried a different mic and updated my drivers. I went on the audio controls and made sure nothing was muted and my mic was setup to record. Still, nothing. I tried the sound recorder but it won't record my voice. Any help would be appreciated!! |

| 539657 | 2007-04-10 04:04:00 | Same thing happened to mine. I found out that the cord had gotten yanked out inside the headset and caused it to stop working. So I had to go get another headset. Picked up a fairly nice one that use to be like $50 from Radioshack for only $11.00. With yours, it sounds like it could be either that, or maybe the USB port is malfunctioning. Have you tried a different slot? |
