More info on it here (support.microsoft.com) I take it you've added the XP PC's to Nortons if its the firewall and vice-versa. |

| 539638 | 2007-04-10 03:40:00 | And have u gone into ZA's and Norton's config and added the Vista PC etc on the network (using the network wizard, whatever it is), and vice-versa as well? | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
| 539639 | 2007-04-10 04:03:00 | I did this about a month ago, it is a setting on vista, in networking. it says something like "show machine on network" or "unhide machine" something like that anyway. Exactly the same problem. Having not touched vista since or have a machine avaliable thats the best i can do | plod (107) | ||
| 539640 | 2007-04-10 04:11:00 | Have you configured Vista to say the network is a "Public Network" or a "Private Network". One of them turns off "File and printer discovery" or something like that, which is probably what's causing the problem. | somebody (208) | ||
