| 539452 | 2007-04-09 21:53:00 | Hi all, I'd been using Edna but it was always kinda flaky. Basically each week I record the sermon at my church and put them up on the church website. Have been saving them as WMA's because, lets face it, most of the people in my church over the age of about 30 arent going to want to have to download & install additional software so they can play OGG or M4A audio files. Anyways, Edna was cool and all, but its just too flaky, so I want some other ideas on software. Suggestions? Many thanks Chill. |

Will have a nosey thou, thanks :) was more looking for recommendations of software people have tried rather than hunting through search results for 'streaming' ;) I should probably note that I only have bash access to the box, nothing GUI :) |

| 539457 | 2007-04-10 04:41:00 | Im looking for more of a server that: has a list of all the files generates a streaming .pls / .m3u playlist when clicked so it can be streamed straight to WMP / WinAmp. offers the files straight for download & later playback Not really after a 'radio' as such, and Im not sure if VLC / VLS is really what Im after, but VLC had crossed my mind... Cheers Chill. |
