The goods do what they were made to do and fit for the purposes that the goods are normally used for.

see www.dataprojector.co.nz
for a summary.

Exactly. I told a couple of people who bought laptops from Dick Smith about that part of the law. The laptops didn't have decent video drivers released for them at the time, so they couldn't even play DVDs.

539449 2007-04-10 09:45:00 I don't know why many people are MS bashers, but I for one actually like MS. Other than annoyances that I find, I still like MS nonetheless.

I like Vista much better than XP. One is because it is more stable, and two it is much prettier. Sure, it takes quite the machine to run it properly, but I think it's worth it.

Why do pro M$ persons see things in black and white (ok, I admit that anti M$ people do to). Just because people are critical of an M$ product does not mean they are M$ bashers. I like SOME M$ software but I don't like alot of their business practices and the way they dictate what is the best for you as a user. They historically have so many resources they could squash competition and competition is good for business. In many cases, they deserve to be bashed (poor poor Microsoft)

... and did they manage to get any compensation or refund?

Cheers :)

Business-wise, I have to agree with MS bashing. Product-wise, I like MS. Problem with many MS bashers is that they focus on criticising their products instead of their business conducts.
