| 539742 | 2007-04-10 07:11:00 | my friend is running OE6, someone has just sent him a powerpoint attachment (.pps) and also .jpg pictures but when he go's to open it he gets an error message saying it has no programme associated with it, this is wrong all jpg and powerpoint file extensions are correctly associated with windows viewer and Powerpoint. To get around it he has to save the attachment to the desktop, upon which it opens fine, any ideas??? | videoguy (1351) | ||
| 539743 | 2007-04-10 10:43:00 | I have had the same problem with Power Point viewer for .pps attachments. I installed Power Point Full version and it fixed the problem. Also try this (windowsxp.mvps.org) for the .jpeg problem |

| 539747 | 2007-04-10 21:32:00 | Does your friend use PoperPoint viewer to view .pps files, if he does this is almost certainly the problem. There is a fix available from the microsoft website. Not sure about the .jpgs though. Why are you certain its a problem elsewhere with outlook? |
