| 539817 | 2007-04-11 09:34:00 | The network icon has waves coming out of it and says the 'Wireless Network Connection is now connected' It is a security enabled wireless network. 'This network requires a network key. You are currently connected to this network. To disconnect from this network, click Disconnect below' I haven't connected any new hardware recently. 'check the key on your lappy ensure that is correct' How do I do that? |

| 539819 | 2007-04-11 11:52:00 | Thanks for that. I don't know the key as it was setup by the store where I purchased the wireless modem. I will take it in to them & see if they can figure it out. It still riles me that the thing says I am connected but I can't log on to the internet or my network. Once again thanks for trying. David | DavidW (532) | ||

| 539821 | 2007-04-13 04:10:00 | beama I took the laptop & the wireless modem to the shop where it was setup (Compulink) and the wizzard techie pushed a wire into the modem and then reinstalled it. Said it was corrupted and was probably an electricity spike that caused it. He made sure I remembered the new password for the wifi security! Thanks again David | DavidW (532) | ||
