| 540338 | 2007-04-12 03:51:00 | Just for giggles, I zipped the same song (Whiskey Lullaby, Allison Krauss and Brad Paisley) into both formats . . . WINRAR and WINZIP . . . and guess what? When I sent them to myself, I also sent an un-zipped version . The unzipped version got there first . . . then WINZIP and last, WINRAR . Hmm? :groan: Any reason why this is happening? |

| 540341 | 2007-04-12 04:49:00 | Was the song a MP3 by any chance? MP3 is a form of compression thus using .zip or .rar probably made the file even bigger. Any extra compression that would of been achieved from .zip or .rar would have been overridden by the data used to uncompress the file. Trying to further compress MP3 is pointless. |
