541057 2007-04-14 23:43:00 All ADSL routers should support them, especially if you are looking at the wireless bit. Both vista and windows xp support wireless.

It's more a matter of if your computers support wireless.

I have a Linksys WAG54G and that is the best I have had

541062 2007-04-17 08:16:00 Make sure your XP machines have the update for Link-Layer Topology Discovery (LLTD) installed, otherwise they will not be visible on the Network Map under Vista.

The update is available from Windows Update or you can download it directly to the XP machines - see here (support.microsoft.com)

541064 2007-04-17 08:28:00 But did you use Network Map on the Vista machine? Jen (38)
541065 2007-04-17 09:10:00 But did you use Network Map on the Vista machine? Yes, it just shows up under these devices can not be placed in the map... just like my DD-WRT firmwared Linksys WRT54GL router (used as a switch) and my Linux (Debian) Webserver...

Jut installed it and I see what you mean... not that is seems to make much difference...
