| 540769 | 2007-04-13 04:55:00 | hi all i have a major problem with my comp freezing i have done scans with anti virus and adware and performed a trojan scan all done in safe mode but still nothing seems to work p.s happens when i leave it to download stuff and is idle for a while and as soon as i tried to press any key or move the mouse it freezes on me has happened whilst playing a store brought game as well a message came up that said i was low on virtual memory if this helps at all as never seen that happen before:badpc: :badpc: |

| 540771 | 2007-04-13 05:15:00 | "Virtual" memory is the disk swap space. If this happens when you are downloading, it's quite likely that you are running out of disk space. This can happen even when there is apparently a lot of free space if the disk is excessively fragmented. Of course, the problem is made worse if you are running too many applications, and/or you are a bit short of real memory. |

| 540772 | 2007-04-13 06:08:00 | have done all those checks and all seems fine done a defrag yesterday and all was sweet am running windows XP with 512ram and 1.5g HD comp is only 1.5yrs old only run one application at a time when downloading im stumped |
