541391 2007-04-16 01:22:00 Hi there!
When using Internet explorer and scrolling up and down the PC freezes. Then the monitor gets black and PC restarts itself. After that error message sais that driver of graphic card is at fault.
Managed to fix it by resetting CIMOS on (Aopen mobo) using jumper. But happened again. When PC starts there appears error message with a code and at the end of it - syst.sml

Any ideas what to do?
Thanks

541392 2007-04-16 01:32:00 And when u reset the BIOS, by removing the jumper, did u reconfigure everything else and save the settings?

Whats the exact error message you're seeing with this syst.sml at the end of it

Can u post a snapshot of this error and upload it to ImageF1.

I take it, you're using the onboard video card? Not an AGP or PCI-E videocard?

Which isnt the onboard videocard.

Graphic card is AGP. At the moment PC is ok and no error messages. After hext hungap will be able to send complete error message.
After resetting BIOS what shall be reconfigured?

541394 2007-04-16 06:41:00 After u reset the bios, you should change the time/date/year, (as some programs may rely on the BIOS time, if its wrong, programs u have installed and if theyre trials, may run out sooner than u think). And some may not install.

and whatever devices are installed (like the hdds and cds and USB 2 if its onboard).

And plug & play, if theres an option for this in the BIOS.

Otherwise, the system may not work properly, or some devices may not get detected and then wont work properly.

Since the videocard is AGP the option/s for it wont be in the BIOS, as its not onboard. Altho the power management options are in the BIOS.
