542031	2007-04-18 07:34:00	Hi I have been able to insta Mandriva 2007 but it asks me for a logon and password in a "dos" looking screen. Any ideas? Thanks	asdex (1488)
542032	2007-04-18 07:57:00	I'm pretty sure Mandriva asks for a root login on installation, did it ask for a standard user one to? If not login as root and try and create a standard user account. Possibly try Admin/Admin? Sorry I couldn't help more, I can't really remember installing Xandros 3.0.2 (OCE not paid edition :nerd: ), but I think it asked me to create a user as well as a root on installation or on the first login screen. 542033	2007-04-18 10:56:00	It should by default have done a full graphical install. When does this prompt appear? Did it give you any error messages during installation?	TGoddard (7263)
