| 541596 | 2007-04-17 01:13:00 | Dear all. I have recorded a series of lectures on the week before the beginning of mid-semester break. However, I found that the recorded lectures are not that clear. My question what bars should I slide in the graphic equalizer to pimp up the quality? Cheers :) |

| 541602 | 2007-04-17 03:21:00 | So what exactly is it you are trying to push uphill with a one tooth rake? If the signal to noise ratio is poor, then there isn't much you can do with it, other than remove all that is well below of above the speech frequency's, and gate it. Gating will switch it off completely if the level is below a certain point, or in other words, when the lecturer shuts up, you won't have to listen to hiss or whatever. As for what frequencys make a specific voice clearer, what color was the piece of string you wanted measured? :p lose below100hz, lose above 15k, anything else..... listen while you tweak. Your ears will tell you if you are removing speech HTH |
