541557 2007-04-16 12:03:00 I wonder if anyone can help.

A non technical friend of mine recently changed her ISP from AOL broadband to a sevice provided by a Waitrose (department store/supermarket group)

From what I gather she is connected via the modem AOL installed, and still has AOL software on her PC.

There is no problem connecting, but when she opens a page in IE7 the page scrolls down automatically (albeit in small jumpy steps).

She runs windows XP 512Ram with kaparskys antivirus/firewall/malware protector installed.

I have looked through IE options and found nothing that might help. My natural instinct is to blame AOL software, but I don't want to unistall it incase I affect the modem settings.

So far I have disabled most of the IE plugins and disabled the AOL spyware scanner service all to no avail.

Any ideas? Thanks

Are you sure its not just an iffy scroll wheel on your mouse? Try another one.
