| 541557 | 2007-04-16 12:03:00 | I wonder if anyone can help. A non technical friend of mine recently changed her ISP from AOL broadband to a sevice provided by a Waitrose (department store/supermarket group) From what I gather she is connected via the modem AOL installed, and still has AOL software on her PC. There is no problem connecting, but when she opens a page in IE7 the page scrolls down automatically (albeit in small jumpy steps). She runs windows XP 512Ram with kaparskys antivirus/firewall/malware protector installed. I have looked through IE options and found nothing that might help. My natural instinct is to blame AOL software, but I don't want to unistall it incase I affect the modem settings. So far I have disabled most of the IE plugins and disabled the AOL spyware scanner service all to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks |
