541941 2007-04-17 23:44:00 Not just some telecom customers. There was a very major outtage this morning, from (apparently) 4am. My connection came back around 10;30am. Complete isp outtage, no email, local or int. traffic.

The radio news didn't give many specifics, but something about a telecom card of some sort in Auckland, and whoosh/ihug/bunch of others all affected. I'm with whoosh in Palmy. The final comment in the story was they didn't know who was being affected nor what areas, this at 9am 5 hrs into the problem :)

So we're all (mostly) still at telecoms maintenance mercy.

541943 2007-04-18 00:40:00 Yes I'm on the Telecom Go Large plan through Actrix. HAd the same problems but now it is sweet. BTW got an email from Actrix yesterday saying I have got a $130-00 credit plus GST. Quote " Telecom
has said that the Go Large service is not working as intended and hasn't
been for some months."unquote, as we all know.

541944 2007-04-18 01:44:00 Telstraclear cable in Wellington had the opposite issue: International traffic was mostly fine, but no national traffic would work - unless it was hosted on the Telstra network. somebody (208)
541945 2007-04-18 02:06:00 My Internet was down this morning at 6am and was still down whenI left for work at 7am, Internet at work is going fine though, and I heard on RadioSport that there was a an outage on the Internet and their SMS service.

Hopefully it will be sorted by the time I get home.

Cheers

No Way! Yes, it is possible... I called them today a couple of times and one answer was that there was scheduled maintainance which had gone wrong... therefore in this scenario it would have been someone
