I just brought this Dlink G604T modem today, well, on the lan side of it, it is all good, nice and simple but Wireless is driving me nuts and would someone please help me I am trying to use my IPAQ 3715 to connect to the wireless router, well at the moment, my IPAQ can see the SSID which is good, now on the channel side of it, well on the modem i got 1-13 of them to choose from and then on my IPAQ, it only got 1-4 to select from. I try to select every single one of them from 1-13 and reset my IPAQ and router respectively, it won't work... Now i have give up at the moment, and leave it us channel 1 with wep on as the security, and the encryption key 64 bits is switched on as well....and any other function on that web-service is set as default at the moment Could somebody please help me to setup? your help will be much appreciated.. well i think it is not that hard, basically if we on one of the public hotspot, it just recognize itself so fast, but it just this i am having trouble with Once again Thanks Jacky |

| 542075 | 2007-04-18 10:55:00 | According to Dlink: www.dlink.com Your G604T doesn't need any drivers/firmware to run on Vista According to HP (I hope HP is the one who made IPAQ): h20000.www2.hp.com Well, I don't know - but is it possible that it can only be suppoted by Windows Mobile 2003? |

| 542079 | 2007-04-19 09:32:00 | I needed to download a new driver for G604T from D-Link before my wireless network would work in Windows XP, actually for my PDA it managed to be connected at the end... Telecom XTRA staff told me when i was ranging them, they tell me to go with the WPA and use the WPA string and type a 8 character password.... (not case sensitivity!!!) then at the end, all i need to, for my PDA, enter the 8 character password, then enter a static IP address... subnet and also the gateway.. DNS for XTRA is also important... Reset both my router and my IPAQ 3715, then Waalaaa, it is working now... yea, now my wireless connection is secure now.... Thanks Jacky |
