2007-04-16 10:34:00 | How can I remove these items from the PressF1 forums? Attached file: mejobloggs-pressf1.png (www.imagef1.net.nz) (42 KB) Using Firefox. I tried Greasemonkey, but couldn't figure that out. I did manage to remove those elements by deleting them in the DOM Inspector in FF, but I have no idea how to get FF to remember my preference.

User styles empower your browsing experience by letting you fix ugly sites, customize the look of your browser or mail client, or just have fun." userstyles.org |

2007-04-16 12:19:00 | I dont think the user wants those buttons removed.. and you dont need to install a plugin, its a feature that comes with firefox to block ads ;) | Chilling_Silence (9) | |
2007-04-16 12:29:00 | Great! That Stylish extension works perfectly :) Here are some screenshots of how I now see PressF1. Attached file: mejobloggs-new-pressf1.png (www.imagef1.net.nz) (27 KB) Attached file: mejobloggs-new-pressf1-2.png (www.imagef1.net.nz) (29 KB) I browse at a pretty small browser-window width, which is why I wanted to do this. What I usually see is something like these: Attached file: mejobloggs-old-pressf1.png (www.imagef1.net.nz) (68 KB) Attached file: mejobloggs-old-pressf1-2.png (www.imagef1.net.nz) (66 KB)

2007-04-16 12:30:00 | Oh, and here is the CSS I used in Stylish if anyone else wants it. @namespace url(www.w3.org); @-moz-document domain("pressf1.co.nz") { table[width='160'], td[width='170'], div.fairfax_nav, table#header, div#navigation, img[src='idg.net.nz display: none !important;} } Such a great extension, thanks very much.

2007-04-16 12:43:00 | I was having a crack at this very thing a few days ago via Greasemonkey, thanks mejo. I've always thought of Stylish as a Greasemonkey knockoff but I might have a closer look at it, so thanks Steve L too. | sal (67) | |
