542389 2007-04-19 09:23:00 Reformatted the HDD of this old computer and couldnot find audio and display drivers. Went to their website but unfortunately couldn't match this model number with their drivers download. Keyed in the S/n and Part No. (sticker on the Case) but sadly, they also cannot recognise all those numbers!

Apparently, it seems that they can't even recongnise their own products.

Any suggestions as to where I can download the relevant drivers for this Model. Used Everest Home and it says 'Unknown motherboard'

Cheers

542394 2007-05-27 01:45:00 I'm pretty sure most of PB's systems go by codenames

Like whats here (support.packardbell.com)

I remember trying to find one not so long ago for someone. And in the end I found out that it was Columbia 5P.

I only found this out, by looking at some mark or logo on the mobo somewhere.

So, even tho these systems have S/N's or P/N's, it doesnt necessarily mean this is what it'll be under on the site.

Sorry, it's been quite sometime ago, can't remember where did I downloaded the driver, but remembered vaguely that I was using Home everest to assist.
