| 542693 | 2007-04-20 19:33:00 | want os are you using anything higher than 98se is easy using tcp/ip printing although it can be done on 98. you need to know the ip the printer is using for this to work tcp/ip printing steps on each networked networked machine install new printer...local donot detect new printer create new port select tcp/ip type ip address that the printer is using find and install printer driver for the printer all this can be done from the install printer wizard The reason its a pain in 98 is because 98 does not support tcp/ip printing out the box, but it can be helped. If you are using 98 pm me a email address and I'll email an utilty that will enable you to do this on 98 but not untill monday. |
