Hi Guys, so I bought this second hand Macbook Pro yesterday and when home I discovered it has some issues connecting to WiFi, my other APPLE products have no issues connecting to the WiFi network. I started googling and made some changes in the "locations" area as described at this website:osxdaily.com and it working fine for most of the night. This morning, at some stage there was no WiFi connection and when I clicked on the WiFi icon it says: Wi-Fi: Looking For Networks but it keeps alternating between this and ON. Am a bit puzzled. Can anyone help? |

Have you tried restarting the Wifi router? I periodically do that with my Wifi router when my iMac wifi connection drops off periodically. |

Is OS X up to date?
What version is it? |

El Capitan, it seems the iMac is doing this too....It might just be looking constantly for the connection however I never noticed it on this machine, the macbook pro is obvious as the WiFi signal is off and when you go there with your mouse it says its looking for a network...pretty strange. I have reset the Apple Airport Extreme and I have been looking at upgrading the firmware however the latest firmware is installed. |

Have you done an SMC and PRAM reset? |
