1407126 2015-08-21 06:51:00 Captain Underpants rides again!!!!

Anything Tuku Morgan has a hand in is suspect. I really don't know how the dickhead holds his head up in public after his high living exploits with maori TV at the taxpayers expense.

They are just leeches on society.

1407128 2015-08-21 06:57:00 No. Some maybe, because quite a lot of them have shares in land. Speedy Gonzales (78)

Pffft!

And I thought the first line was funny. The second line however was even more laughable (and I did indeed laugh out loud)

Seems intellect is not an atribute needed for NZ's indigenous Royalty.

Never hurts to dream, I suppose, but has the guy had his head in the sand the last decade?

I have known some maori blokes were getting 1000's a year from land shares. Plus sizable grants for health and education. The further south their tribes/iwi - the higher ownership and share payouts due to the abundance of natural resources and farming stations and trusts. Governed by the Maori Land Court (MLC) and maori trusts. Info for maori land owners stored at mlol (www.maorilandonline.govt.nz) from MLC. Some maori ownership go way back before the 1900's. I found out when researching for a mate to help him for succession to land ownership.

Tainui I think have enough, e.g sizable prior payments, and I think ownership in educational centers, and other investments. Might start a tribal war against Ngati Whatua. Might be political intent to ward off any overseas investors from...Asia. Chinese tried to buy land in Glen Innes, but were scared off by local iwi.
