| 1407104 | 2015-08-21 02:45:00 | Hi Team While staying with rellies in Oz some years back Billy Jnr was gifted a watch, but it was so big and cumbersome, he could never wear it. Sufficient time has now passed, so he asked me me to sell it for him on TM. It is quite substantial (weighs in at 130g which is just over 4oz) but my problem is that there is no brand name present, and the only identifier is the symbol on the guarantee card (image attached) and the lid of very fancy tin that in which it was packaged. This emblem is repeated on the watch face, the backplate, and the clasp of the stainless steel band. Iit is pretty difficult to web-search for a brand name when the sole identifier is a symbol like that, but I carried out an extensive web search of watch images anyway, which turned up nothing. It is not a Greek symbol and I have checked a range of other non-euro alphabet possibles, but nothing anything like it has turned up. Cheers Billy 8-{) 6707 |

It looks suspiciously like the Goldmark Jewellers logo, who (at least last time I was there) had a store in Upper Mt Gravatt. Makes sense, it was purchased in Gravatt, and since it is overweight and seriously ugly, was made in China and the battery has already gone flat, it most likely was a 'Chinese-Australian' house brand. One quick web search later and the logo that popped up was identical! Thanks for the help! Cheers Billy 8-{) |
