1413728 2016-01-02 22:23:00 Ok, tell me how I find out those settings and I'm happy to let you have a look. Beemer (6956)
1413729 2016-01-02 22:26:00 You have to log into the modem. I dont know what the ip addy is. It maybe 192.168.1.1 ? 192.168.0.1 ?

And look under the wireless option, to see what's enabled etc and whether you're using a password to connect to it

But if you want me to check it out, you have to install teamviewer first

1413730 2016-01-02 22:31:00 Is that the router address? Which is 192.168.1.254. I've installed Team Viewer in the past, just refresh my memory as to how I do this please. Beemer (6956)
1413731 2016-01-02 22:35:00 I think the prob is if you're using a separate modem and wireless / router. It can be harder for the 2 to talk to each other. And for anything to work properly

You could try that ip. I have no idea. I've got a modem/router in one. Not a separate modem and router

You download it from teamviewer.com for the mac. Give the ID and password it gives you to me in a PM.

1413732 2016-01-02 22:36:00 I just went into the settings and clicked on wifi, and it showed that wifi was not connected to a network. I clicked on the drop-down box and chose the Spark one I use and entered the password. It is now showing that the wifi is connected (it was showing it was on before, but obviously not connected), but the same problem was happening with the phone. I turned on the wifi on the phone but it still wouldn't let me post anything or connect to the internet. Beemer (6956)
1413733 2016-01-02 22:42:00 Installer TV then PM the info. And we'll go from there Speedy Gonzales (78)
1413734 2016-01-02 22:43:00 Have done so, thanks. Beemer (6956)
1413735 2016-01-02 23:13:00 Log into it again Beemer and configure it, like you did before. Then I'll have another look Speedy Gonzales (78)
1413736 2016-01-02 23:58:00 Hmm may well be the modem, changed the channel to 11, changed the ip on the PC, it was conflicting, nothing wireless likes it and cuts you off lol

Is there an error log on macs somewhere like there is with windows (event viewer)?

1413737 2016-01-03 02:09:00 If you can get here Beemer I closed TV accidentally. Obviously I can't log back in Speedy Gonzales (78)
