I seem to rember a link on site calls " About GST" and it said that GST was paid with purchase but I got an email late yesterday that said "Thank you for your business with us. Because we are base in Hong Kong, our prices are GST exclusive, simply because we have no right to collect GST. We have this informations on our T&C and we also have this note /info on the website just before you made finale check out: Any order exceeding NZ$400 will attract GST on arrival in NZ. GST is about 15% of total amount for NZ including shipping which is payable to your NZ custom directly: www.ird.govt.nz There are also addition payment such as Import Transaction Fee NZ$40.77, GST on Import Transaction Fee NZ$6.12 and Payment Deferment NZ$8.70 on top of 15% GST. If your oder is for company use, you may will be able to claim the GST back. Please check with your NZ local authority for detail. Please advice if this is acceptable or if order cancellation required by replying this email with your decision. CC has NOT been charged / remain untouched. I could find the info any more and their GST policy is now buried at the bottom of the terms and conditions section. I redid the sums and it was too expensive so canceled the order. |
