1407864 2015-09-05 06:33:00 When I got married my wife did not drive, but doing the supermarket with her made me get her licence. When I go to the supermarket I know what I want and race around and out the door. No not my darling wife who would look at stuff put it back go back an isle to get something 1 cent cheaper. It was driving me insane. I started to teach her but it usually involved a ***fight so I paid for a driving instructor who told me what I already knew he said I dont think he could ever teach her to drive. In the end a solution came along when the driver testers at Lincoln road were on strike and the feldpolezei from Henderson Police station were were doing it so we went down. Young cop said I haven't failed anyone today if I keep this it up they should replace me up here. Wife drove down end of road around roundabout back up passed. No more supermarket shopping for me ever again. prefect (6291)

But think of the death and destruction incurred.

1407867 2015-09-05 08:49:00 I've been with my gf (now wife) for 7 years and I've been to the supermarket with her maybe 6 times. She is the sort of shopper than is happy to spend twice as long to save $3 at the end of the shop where as I would rather shop online to avoid people and trolleys. And we only use scratchy tickets as a way to kill time at various airports...the challenge being how long can you make $20 last. hueybot3000 (3646)

Yes, I have been doing this lately. Online then collect.
But I also try for cheap, well, budget makes that a necessity.

So I shop around, certain items at Pak N Save, certain items not from any supermarket at all........however to minimise walking round, I do buy in bulk and only do it once in however long...certainly not weekly or fortnightly.
