1407465 2015-08-31 22:16:00 1 hour a week you ain't going to get much done. So there would be a build up plod (107)
1407466 2015-09-01 20:12:00 The new lot:
Vacuumed whole house - inc half way up walls.
Washed hard surface floors, then dried with towels.

Washed all surfaces in kitchen, cupboards, inc inside them, benchtops, oven top, in and out of microwave, window sills etc.
Ditto in bathroom, inc shower fittings, walls etc.
Ditto toilet.
Then dusted in lounge and dining rooms - every single thing in there.

Did not do 3 of the 4 bedrooms - this was requested by my mum.
Did vaccum in there though.

Finally on leaving, washed door frame and steps.

You clean your bathroom for instance once a week - you won't get build up. You will if you half do it, or leave it for ages....I know what the old lot did and the new.
I have seen plenty of other descriptions by others how the funded ones clean - or not clean I should say.

And a friend of mine had 2 different ones a while ago, she says the same thing.

I don't care, the idea is to have her live in a clean place while she recovers enough.

1407467 2015-09-01 22:09:00 I had home help when I had my hip replacement in January. Funded.
The first week it was half an hour for personal care every second day. After that I didn't need help with showering etc.
I also had cleaning help for forty five minutes, 1 day a week for six weeks. The cleaning standard varied depending which person I got. They vacuumed and washed floors, cleaned toilet and bathroom, but would not shift anything, didn't clean under anything and kitchen clean was virtually non existent.

I must admit out of the cleaners I had, the young guy was the best and the most particular.

Glad your mum is getting better quality help now, Pctek.
