1406632 2015-09-08 03:44:00 Does the TV Live display and record facility work? B.M. (505)
1406633 2015-09-08 05:51:00 Haven't tried that B.M., but I suspect it will, when you first run it, it goes through the Setup options to connect a TV, but the one I tried it on is in the workshop. It plays DVD's and Streams fine over the LAN. wainuitech (129)
1406634 2015-09-08 06:51:00 I downloaded Neowin's WMC but I cannot get Admin rights on the popup menu. Can't understand why! Bryan (147)
1406635 2015-09-08 07:20:00 Sweet may check it out then. Ta WT Make sure you reboot like the instructions say to after the first command is run other wise the second wont install.

A CMD flashes on the first command, reboot, then run the install command, another cmd opens, files install, and that's it. It then appears in the start Menu under Accessories.

I tried it on the Pro Version ( which is what you had to have for W7 or 8.1) so may not work on home editions.

1406636 2015-09-08 07:48:00 I'm using Win 10 Pro. My problem is that I do not get the opportunity to "Run as Administrator", it just doesn't show!

When I R click _TestRights all I get are the options to Open, Cut, Paste Delete and Properties.

1406637 2015-09-08 08:15:00 I'll just carry on using media player classic, does all I need it to do with no jumping through hoops gary67 (56)

1406639 2015-09-11 05:04:00 Looks like one of the updates for Windows 10 has killed the store. It crashes with an Exception code: 0xc000027b

And says Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.WindowsStore_2015.8.25 .0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\WinStore.Mobile.exe

Looks like other users on the MS forum / site have been getting the same , or similar exception code

Looks like it maybe a permission prob, because I cant access the above folder

There is growing feedback that the Store is down for a lot of people today.

Maybe DOS (Denial of service attack) or server outage.

Reported in Feedback and they have received and are aware.

UPDATED: Just confirmed windows-store-crashing-windows-10-pcs-and-mobile-phone (www.windowscentral.com)

Like the last lines " So far, Microsoft is quiet on the issue. We'll keep abreast of the problem and report if there are any fixes from users or Microsoft. Until then, you will be stuck with a non-functioning store."

Read as MS have screwed up someplace. :D ( Again)

On the lighter side -- Saw an interesting post today, part of it read - "windows 10 Fisher-Price/Toys-r-Us edition" THAT explains everything, Fisher-Price have secretly purchased Microsoft

Back on Thread subject - What I like about W10 --- Now I'm glad I changed my Sig -- Never a dull moment these days :D
