Bad Betty Davis movie clip, after running over a mother and child, killing the child, tries to evade police running from her family house. Blaming the colored servant. Anyway those US cop cars are huge at that time - Big Buick, Cadillac, Chrysler, Dodge or Ford? Reminds me when my dad a DeSoto around 1970. It was Big. Fit a Washing Machine in the Boot. |

| 1407976 | 2015-09-06 01:50:00 | The convertible is either a Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Fisher body anyway. The first police car is a Chevrolet and the second police car a 1939 Buick straight 8. All by General Motors. | mzee (3324) | ||

Cheers Billy 8-{) Carbon Tetra Chloride (CTC).... used to use them when I was a fireman in Auckland in 1960. As you said, a good strong jet of the beer byproduct would be better. They were great on electric switchboard and under bonnet car fires but as soon as you stopped spraying, quite often the fire started again due to the lack of cooling of the darned stuff. They didn't leave a residue though which was their only good point. That, and how they looked after cleaning and polishing with Brasso. The gas product which put the fire out was pretty awful highly toxic, and I don't think anyone was sad when they were replaced with the dry powder types. Ken Ps. On the bottom of the page were links to Dean Martin's celebrity roasts. I had a look at the Bette Davis one. Bought back some memories. I will watch the Lucille Ball on tonight. Should be good! |

May not off been hip for a popular female actress in the 40's (movies) to do so. But she liked big engine cars from her 1940 straight 8 Buick Super Estate (goo.gl) Wagon (NYC article) to her 1980 custom red interior made Mustang (goo.gl) (Las Vegas car auction listing). Big cars for a frail woman (blueiskewl.blogspot.co.nz) (1988 photo portrait). |
