1406470 2015-08-13 07:21:00 Went online today to change flights.
5 attempts resulted in could not process some such error.
Rang, waited ages, meanwhile tomorrows flight rapidly disappearing....

Lady does it, declines visa.
I log on and look at visa - it was charged 5 times by AirNZ.

I ask what is with system? Oh some IT problem, loads of people ringing.

Excellent, she changes the flights however I have to wait a week for the cancellation of charges to visa, visa over it's limit.....and it still cost me $175.

She says ring insurance people, they process claim for new cost.

I ring insurance, they ask why changed?
Well mother being evicted from hospital earlier than they first thought....insurance says as I knew that was a possibility - yep, that's why I paid the insurance - the claim will be declined.

It's a thing in their terms apparently.

Still could be worse. Friend of mine had to book Tauranga to Invercargill yesterday for flight today - cost her $380 one way.....

1406471 2015-08-13 08:09:00 Hmm.... Could have been United Airlines in USA recently experienced by me. On one flight, they overbooked, resulted in me being asked "would you like to have this other seat ma'am ? My reply, "are you quite sure there is no one else who has booked this seat?" Their reply, " Well, if no one else has sat here by the time we take off, then it's yours!"
Thanks United for an interesting flight!

Please note, I certainly would not have expected your experience with Air NZ and your insurance company, at all!

Cheers, LL

Sounds about right for Air NZ domestic. The sooner Kiwi Regional Airlines and Jetstar start domestic flights the better.

Oh I don't think so. AirNZ did sort it for me straight away, not their fault it will take a while for my visa to correct itself....same with any transaction via visa.
The insurance people, well it's not AirNZ exactly....

I'd never choose Jetstar.

The other one has started....

1406475 2015-08-13 21:25:00 A shame about the insurance - do you mind letting us in on which insurer it was, or prefer to keep it quiet? inphinity (7274)
