2007-04-24 02:18:00 At least for the first quarter of this year. Blu-Ray vs HD-DVD here (blogs.pcworld.co.nz). Chris Keall (10417)
2007-04-24 03:47:00 Does this reflect actual sales? Or sales AS WELL as those redeemed through vouchers. bob_doe_nz (92)
2007-04-24 04:02:00 Interesting... I was in Australia during March and talked to a salesman in Hardly Normals. He told me that company policy was to not stock HD-DVD. All the way with Blu-Ray. They think they are backing the future winner he said.

Don't particularly care which one wins! As long as the price of players and writers starts to drop soon.

2007-04-24 05:31:00 we still have both DVD+R/W and DVD-R/W .... but HD-DVD gets my vote because it's region-free from the start Agent_24 (57)
2007-04-24 14:10:00 I vote HD-DVD also. Plan on getting one of the USB Xbox 360 drives shortly :) Chilling_Silence (9)
2007-04-24 23:12:00 MS appears to favour HD-DVD, so obviously logic demands I go the other way. ;) R2x1 (4628)
2007-04-24 23:23:00 MS appears to favour HD-DVD, so obviously logic demands I go the other way. ;)But Sony favours BluRay - so obviously logic demands that you spurn both  Erayd (23)
2007-04-24 23:56:00 And Sony will rootkit its Bluray discs, and MS will put on annoying and easily cracked DRM. :D pcuser42 (130)
2007-04-25 03:40:00 Considering that most people in NZ don't have a TV capable of displaying anything better than DVD quality, I don't think high def will be a big thing here - it will just gradually creep in over a number of years. Greven (91)
