| 543393 | 2007-04-23 04:47:00 | I have an intermittent problem where the cursor is missing when I want to change a user in Windows XP Professional. The mouse pointer is there but will not produce a cursor when clicking on a user name. A reboot always overcomes but it is a bit of a nuisance - does anyone have an answer. | tapram (9325) | ||

I don't have access to the particular computer at present ( it is one I use at a small business outlet where I help out) to check on graphics, drivers and etc. but OK at first log on - the problem arises intermittently when user changed. Read somewhere deletion and reinstallation of mouse driver may help - tried but did not make any difference. Do you think an update of graphics drivers may help? Have run usual checks for spyware and etc. No change of cursor theme. | tapram (9325) | ||

I believe it was fixed around the 5x.yz series of nVidia drivers though, so really depends what kind of card you have. |
