2007-04-22 07:03:00 | OK goes like this. My PC got the Blue Screen that says Windows has closed down to save damage to your PC or what ever it says. Have tried to Reinstall but gets to the part where Windows is Restarting after adding the Main startup Files and thats it STALL. This is the second PC that it has happened too. Have been Told that it is trouble with Ram?? Is that Possible. Thanks in Advance Cheers GeoKeo

2007-04-22 08:24:00 | Welcome. The Blue screen error should have a full error code. Unless you post the entire error code, it is not really possible to help, as there are several hundred variations possible.

2007-04-23 10:29:00 | Try looking at the Event Log in the Admin tools in the control panel and see if it can tell you the error code and more details. | beeswax34 (63) | |
2007-04-23 10:40:00 | Have you added or changed any hardware or software just prior to this happening? After the first time you got that error message, were you able to restart Windows OK or did it just repeat the same error message? How many times have you tried to repair Windows before it stalled? Have you checked the Windows CD is clean and scratch free? | Jen (38) | |

2007-04-24 06:30:00 | Umm looks like that Stop:OxOOOOOO7B may mean inaccessible boot device. It may also mean you have a virus on the boot sector. Check the BIOS and make sure the boot sector virus protection option is disabled. Does this BSOD say anything about inaccessible boot device? You are doing a clean install, not trying to install XP or whatever over whats already installed?
