And what's the price for the cheapest 120 x 120 x 25 mm fan? With LED. Around 2000rpm for replacing the front Armor LCS case fans, because they're too slow.
:groan: It seems the Armor LCS got some serious problem with MOBO cooling.
Thanks for your help.

i have this case..... One question, do you feel that your MOBO temperature is a little high?
I know the LCS rocks but the internal temp is a bit of problem. Most people havn't notice it. The front intake fan is too slow, seen a normal car radiator fan? If you engine gets hot it'll spin faster but this case does not.

543824 2007-04-24 10:11:00 I personally would not get jumbo fans like that. Imagine all the dust that will clog up.

ThermalTake's Thunderblade LED 120mm fans are very powerful - at a quiet 21dBa for 78 CFM of airflow. Very good indeed. They're expensive though, I think they cost about $30 each.

543825 2007-05-20 09:13:00 Never mind. I give up with lame Thermaltake cases. They're mild functioning. The Cooler Master 832 is way better than this. And Fan VS LCS too. PedalSlammer (8511)
543826 2007-05-21 02:50:00 front intake fans can help cool HDD's but in my exp make very little difference to overall case temperature. The rear exhaust fan is far more effective in lowering overall temperature, and side intake fans work well by delivering air directly to the main sources of heat i.e. the CPU & Graphics.

Two fans in parrallel, e.g. the psu fan and rear case, fan work together to lower the internal case pressure and draw more air in from the outside.
Two fans in series, e.g. one drawing air in & one expelling it, actually only move about as much air as a single fan by itself. Althouh series is for some reason often quieter than parrallel.

543827 2007-05-21 03:03:00 Which raises a unrelated issue...........I installed a second fan at the back after a computer tech suggested my video card was running a little warm so now I have the standard Power Supply fan and the new one below it.

The new fan.....should it be drawing in cool air or reverse it to suck warm air out. I have set it up to suck warm air out. It is just one of those standard $10 fans, nothing special about it.

543828 2007-05-21 05:25:00 Yes, it should be sucking air out of the case. The same as your PSU fan does. mejobloggs (264)
543829 2007-05-21 07:15:00 Have a look at this www.hexus.net
The Thermaltake Armor LCS is killing the MOBO for real. No kidding this is gonna kill the MOBO capacitors making it shorter or other components as well.
